Hemendra started his own office in the real estate, accounting and tax planning business in Orlando in 1980 and has been active in REALTOR® Associations from day one, serving as the 1990 President of the Seminole County Board of REALTORS®. After the merger of Seminole and Orlando Associations, he has been active in various committees at the Orlando Regional REALTOR® Association (ORRA). He is also a member of Osceola County Association of REALTORS® (OSCAR).
At Florida Association of REALTORS® (FAR), Hemendra is a past District Vice President (District 12), past chairman of the Professional Development Committee, REALTOR® Attorney Joint Committee, and a member of the Finance, Nominating, Risk Management and Communications committees for several
years. In 1990 Hemendra was voted ‘REALTOR® of the Year’.
He holds the Certified Real Estate Brokerage Manager (CRB), Graduate REALTOR® Institute (GRI), certified Exchange Advisor (CEA), e-PRO® designations and is a past president of the Florida Chapter of Certified Real Estate Brokerage Manager (CRB).
Hemendra is a past member of the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) North Florida District Directors advisory board and of the 12-member SEEC panel of the IRS in Washington, D.C. He is a past National Director of the National Association of Tax Professionals (NATP). At present, Hemendra serves on the Board of Directors of the First National Bank of Central Florida in Winter Park.
Hemendra speaks six languages and has an active practice of 1031 Exchange Qualified Intermediary. He enjoys providing tax planning consulting to REALTORS® and other professionals.
