After 25 years in real estate, MaryAnne brings her enthusiasm, vast experience, and passion for people and real estate to every student she teaches. As a broker in six states, she specializes in the luxury home market, the second home market, and the international market. She has built a team of 9 – all with their own niche from auctions to remodelers/builders to Luxury and residential to farm specialists to property management to the green market to international to an investment/CPA/Broker to staging specialists; and utilizes their expertise to develop home services (a Concierge service, a staging company, a property management company, an auction company, and an investment consulting service) for their clients/customers and challenging presentations and seminars to Realtors.
Mary Anne is a native Kentuckian. She graduated from the University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy in 1974. Married 38 years to Steve Simmons, who isa Performance/Surety Bonds Specialty Agent of Commercial insurance and a partner in his agency. Their Daughter, Kelly , is a Real Estate Broker -Associate in Chicago in a large brokerage.

Mary Anne enjoys speaking and teaching and speaks for Simmons Seminars. She has presented for the Luxury Home Marketing Institute on Second Homes, Pre-Construction Investing, and one of her favorites-Second Homes and the International Market. She has given many Second Home Seminars from Chicago to North Carolina to Florida to Virginia to Santa FE, NM. Simmons has also presented for the Realtors Association of Miami and Beaches (RAMB) on "Marketing Second Homes to the International Market".
She has a Real Estate Team of 9 and is a Licensed Real Estate Broker in 6 states: FL, KY, TN, AL, SC, and NC.
She has earned the national designations of Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS), Resort and Second Home Property Specialist (RSPS), Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), Graduate Realtors Institute (GRI), Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR). She also has her New Home Specialist (NHS), designation, Consumer-Certified Real Estate Consultant (C-CREC), Transnational Referral Certification (TRC), and is a Guild Member of The Luxury Home Marketing Institute , Who's Who in Luxury Real Estate, , Who's Who in North American Real Estate (1992). She also just received her Certified Home Marketing Specialist (CHMS) designation. Her corporate office, primary residence, and husband are all in Lexington, KY.
She and her husband currently own and have sold many Second Homes/Rental Homes/Resort Homes/Investment Homes.
Her Real Estate Company -Premier Real Estate & Home Services has several other companies in the Home Services Division. Besides Residential and Commercial Brokerage, her divisions include Auctions, Farms, International Sales and Marketing, Premier Rentals and Property Management, Premier Designing Details (Staging and Merchandising), and Premier Classic Consierge Services (home and personal services)
She belongs to approximately 50 mls services throughout the SouthEastern United States.
Mary Anne says, "The Luxury Market, the Second Home market, and the International market are all converging and I have my specialists certification in all three of these markets. This lights my fire, and I really enjoy working and speaking on these topics. Since I have personally owned, sold, rehabbed, or currently own 9 second homes, 8 duplexes, and a large multi-familyapartment complex,and with my education that I have received, and that I am a baby-boomer with many boomer friends and my daughter's friends that I have helped to purchase second homes/rental homes/investment homes,I believe that I can walk the talk about marketing, purchasing, selling, and investing in this market. One of my favorite presentations is on 'Investing in Second Homes-Know Your Exit Strategies'.
