About Paul: 

A native of Orlando, Paul attended the University of Florida, holds an active license as a State Certified General Contractor and Real Estate Broker.

His entire career has been in the construction industry, including management and supervisory positions on heavy commercial, public sector, and military defense projects.   One of his assignments with an international construction company was general superintendent for their U.S. Virgin Islands operations.   Later, Paul was president of a subsidiary of a publicly-owned company involved in residential and multi-family development in Central Florida.  He has owned his own general contracting company since 1964.

Active at all levels of the housing industry; Paul served as President of the Florida Home Builders Association (FHBA) in 1984 and was twice President of the HBA of Metro Orlando.  His outstanding contributions to all segments of the housing industry were recognized by his peers in 1993 with his induction into the Florida Housing Hall of Fame.

Paul is a Senior Life Director of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB).  As the first chairman of the Board of Education,   he was instrumental in the creation of the NAHB University of Housing, which oversees their educational courses and designation programs.

With the creation of the Florida Building Commission,   Paul became one of the first authorized instructors to educate industry professionals on the new building code requirements -- and therein found a second career which he is very passionate about – education.

Paul teaches OSHA Safety Training as well as courses through the NAHB University of Housing, the Florida Construction Industry Licensing Board, and the Florida Real Estate Commission.
