Experience:

  • Managed multiple programs including broker conferences, local education director workshops, instructor training and primarily the GRI (Graduate, Realtor Institute) designation program as well as 3- and 4-hour continuing education courses.
  • Scheduled 60 instructors each year in over 550 modules in the GRI program.
  • Successfully managed the growth of the GRI program from 31 courses and 1,600 students in 2001 to 78 courses and 5,600 students.
  • Initiated an unprecedented contract with an outside vendor to streamline GRI course delivery system to accommodate rapid growth; while increasing net revenue for partnering local boards.
  • Coordinated GRI and CE speaker auditions and faculty policy development.
  • Managed approximately 30 education sessions at each annual FAR Convention from speaker selection process to post-presentation review. Average attendance of 2,000-2,500.
  • Initiated and developed short fundamental training programs on CD for membership.
  • Identified the members’ need for a targeted program about the real estate market and developed program for FAR business meeting.
  • Managed the revisions and updates to the GRI curriculum which includes 21 (3-8 hour) modules.
  • Directed curriculum development for GRI and CE courses to address the various adult learning styles as well as generational differences.

 

Managerial Experience:

  • Supervised and trained five Education Department Staff members – cross-trained to perform critical aspects of other positions.

 

Budgeting Experience:

  • Prepared and oversaw $1,000,000 annual budget for various programs including over 350 classroom presentations as well as online courses.

 

Online Education Experience:

  • Partnered with online education company in developing curriculum for GRI online program as well as 14-hour license renewal education. Subject matter included quiz questions, exam questions as well as student text with the primary goal of writing material that would comply with the state Department of Business and Professional Regulation’s guidelines for online CE credit.

 

Speaking Experience:

Instructor Training Institute 3-day program, Annual Education Workshop, 2005 Chairman of the State Education Directors for NAR (National Association of Realtors®); Served as liaison to 5 committees for FAR; PowerPoint traing for FAR instructors.
